When I was in school, my favorite time of day was when I was allowed to draw and paint. I try to keep that sense of exploration of new techniques, color and creativity

I use mainly acrylics, watercolor and pen and ink. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.

I enjoy sports and nature in my spare time and many of my pieces are directly influenced by these daily encounters. I love recreating dragonflies and sunflowers in my work.

I have been spending my recent time working with fluid art, learning new techniques and exploring color theory. I have been amazed at process and how each piece is unique. 

In the process of learning fluid art, I discovered that the left-over paint made beautiful art itself. I decided to place it in some jewelry settings and    now I am addicted to making unique art that can be worn.  I just love this process, and my daughter and I enjoy collaborating and working together making jewelry.
